Parents' Day Out
Flexible childcare for ABQ's Playroom Members

By reservation: The second Saturday of each month, 5pm-9pm
The play doesn't stop when you're not around!
Children know when they're welcome — and they're welcome here! Set your 2-9 year old free in the Playroom as you take care of your own business. They'll thank you for the fun, you'll thank them for your time! All play. No pressure.
All ABQ's Playroom employees have passed background checks and are CPR/First Aid certified. We operate at a 1:8 (staff: child) ratio. The Parents's Day/Night Out Program is available for members; children must be ages 2-9.
Parents' Day Out - The finer print
Our Parents' Day Out Program provides flexible childcare for members ages 2-9. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Without an advance reservation there is an addtional $10 drop-in fee per family. Prior to using this service families must register and pay a $35 annual membership fee. Please be prepared to complete a registration packet on your first visit. Children may stay for up to four hours each visit.
The cost is $10/child/hour. Pre-pay for ten hours and receive a 20% discount. There is a 1 hour minimum. We do not pro-rate the first hour. Beyond one hour we prorate in 30 minute increments. Please remember to bring diapers, pull-ups and a change of clothing for your child. Also please bring lunch or a snack and a drink. If you forget a snack we have “snack packs” available to purchase for $3. Remember: Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Without an advance reservation there is an addtional $10 drop-in fee per family.
Group Learn & Play Dates
Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy discounted childcare on Wednesdays and Fridays. Children ages 2-9 enjoy a morning or afternoon of learning through play. During these four-hour sessions children engage in open play, socialize and enjoy arts and crafts.
The cost is $25/child for the 4 hour session. If your child is with us longer than four hours you will be charged $5 for each half hour. We do not prorate the fees. Please bring a snack, drink and lunch. Reservations are required at least 24 hours ahead of time to schedule. Without a reservation drop-in care is still available at a rate of $10/hour/child+ plus a $10 drop-in fee per family.

Join us for an evening of play, arts & crafts and group activities. Each month we feature a new theme. The cost is $25/child for the 4 hour session. Reservations are required at least 24 in advance. Without a reservation drop-in care is still available at a rate of $10/hour/child+ plus the drop-in fee. There is an additional fee of $6 to provide dinner for your child. Families may also bring their own dinner.
Please inform the Playroom of any cancellations or changes as soon as possible. We know things arise at the last minute which may prevent you from bringing your child. If we do not receive notice of a cancellation, you will be charged a $10 No-Show fee payable prior to using the service again.
