Membership & Fees
Consider becoming a member! Membership provides priority enrollment for classes, discounted open play, one free open play session during the month of your child’s birthday, a birthday present if you book a party and access to drop-off childcare services. Click here for Membership Fees, here for Open Play, and here for Parents' Day Out. All ABQ's Playroom employees have passed background checks and are CPR/First Aid certified.
Membership Fees
There is a $35 annual membership fee.
Membership is optional.

Open Play (for children up to age 9)
Play for up to three hours. If you need to leave and come back please let a staff member know.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Open Play fee for members: $7/child.
Open Play fee for non-members: $9/child
Open Play fee for members and non-members under 18 mo: $5/child - There is no charge for lap children.
If your child is mobile (crawling, pulling up and walking) and will play with the toys there is a fee.
Parents' Day Out Childcare
This service is only available for members and the children must be between the ages of 2 and 9.
We operate at a 1:8 (staff: child) ratio.
The cost is $10/child/hour. Pre-pay for ten hours and receive a 20% discount.
Children may stay for up to four hours each visit. There is a 1 hour minimum. We do not pro-rate the first hour. Beyond one hour we prorate in 30 minute increments. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Without an advance reservation there is an addtional $10 drop-in fee per family. Prior to using this service families must register and pay a $35 annual membership fee. Please be prepared to complete a registration packet on your first visit.
Group Learn & Play Dates, Wednesday and Friday, 10am-4:30pm
Enjoy discounted childcare on Wednesdays and Fridays. Children ages 2-9 enjoy a morning or afternoon of learning through play. During these four-hour sessions children engage in open play, socialize and enjoy arts and crafts.
There is a flat fee of $25/child and your child may stay for up to 4 hours. If your child is with us longer than four hours and you have not made prior arrangements with us, you will be charged a flat fee of $10/hr. We do not prorate the fee. Please bring a snack, drink and lunch. Reservations are required at least 24 hours ahead of time to schedule. Without a reservation drop-in care is still available at a rate of $10/hour/child+ plus a $10 drop-in fee per family.
Monthly Pajama Parties, the second Saturday of each month, 5pm-9pm
Join us for an evening of play, arts & crafts and group activities. Each month we feature a new theme. The cost is $25/child for the 4 hour session. Reservations are required at least 24 in advance. Without a reservation drop-in care is still available at a rate of $10/hour/child+ plus the drop-in fee. There is an additional fee of $6 to provide dinner for your child. Families may also bring their own dinner.
Please inform the Playroom of any cancellations or changes as soon as possible. We know things arise at the last minute which may prevent you from bringing your child. If we do not receive notice of a cancellation within 2 hours of your reservation, you will be charged a no-show fee of $10/child, payable prior to using the service again.

We accept Discover Card, MasterCard, VISA, checks, or cash. PLEASE NOTE there is a $25.00 returned check fee plus any related or assessed bank fees on all returned checks. All sales are final. NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES.
